The Boat the Rocked

From the new films that are being released I can tell that the company does not work on its own any more instead it does joint production with other companies. This could be because of the rescission, and that it is safer to do a joint effort on the the production of the film rather than a solo.

G322B - The Film Industry
Audience - a group of individuals reading any given media text
Institution - an organisation or company that provides media content whether for profit or not. This involves knowing the media as a business and the relationship between institution and the public.
  1. How many ways can you read something that is produced by the BBC?
If the individual is watching anything that is produced by the BBC, they are taking in information “reading it”
  1. How many different medias where offered?
In the trailer of doctor who there are many different medias, the trailer is an advertisement persuading people to watch it. By watching it on the internet or the TV is through digital media and broadcasting media.
Convergence - is the merging of hardware and software, and companies that have similar boundaries. This makes it difficult to distinct between different types of media and the media industries.
  1. How would you usually watch Doctor Who?
I would normally watch Doctor Who via TV. The other ways to watch it would by viewing it on iplayer or by buying the episode.
Fragmented - Due to the digital technology it has become hard to define the audience. This is because the theory before of a large group of people that are brought together by time responding to a single text, is outdated make the audience know fragmented.
  1. How does the film industry 'converge' with the internet?
The film and the internet where once very different but will the change in technology the two have know started to go down similar lines. The internet and the film industry are both using the technology to there advantage.
